An addition to the Guinot Sources de Purete range for treating oily skin, Matizone is formulated with Matisponges® (fine powders) that absorb the excess shine leaving a lasting light-weight matte finish on the skin's surface. Unlike some oil-control make-up and mattifying cosmetics that can leave skin dry and flaky, Matizone controls the shine without drying and dehydrating the skin because the Matisponges® absorb lipids, not moisture.

Matizone also contains Hydrocyte®, olive tree leaf extract (regulates sebum production and has an anti-inflammatory action) and zinc (another sebum-regulator with additional healing properties). A combination of natural oils, including coconut oil, restores the skin's pH and curbs the spread of inflammation-causing bacteria.

With its fresh clean scent and pretty pale green colour, Matizone leaves a soft powdery finish that provides a good base to `set' make-up and increase its `staying power'. It is gentle enough to use year-round either over the entire face for very oily skin, or for combination skin, it can be applied locally to the T-zone.
